Schedule:

Hours of instruction can be flexible, but we are currently looking for someone to work 1 or more our Weekly Summer Camps which run 9am-4pm on the following weeks:

6/15-6/26 (2 WEEKS): Broadway Bound: Into the Woods Jr.
6/22-6/26 (FULL DAY): Broadway Bound: Into the Woods We Go

7/13-7/24 (2 WEEKS): The World's a Stage: Playwrights & Players
7/20-7/24 (FULL DAY): The World's a Stage: In Character 

7/27-8/7 (2 WEEKS): Broadway Bound: Finding Nemo Jr.
8/4-8/7 (FULL DAY): Broadway Bound: Finding Nemo KIDS

8/10-8/21 (2 WEEKS): Hello Shakespeare: Much Ado about Nothing

Salary/Wage Range:

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Seeking a Summer Acting/Theatre Instructor who will prepare for and instruct camps of students ranging in age from 8 and up. This instructor is responsible for arriving prepared and ready for classes on time, and also maintaining a fun and energetic personality while on the studio premises.

Qualifications:

Professional Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with class instruction preferred
  • Previous experience with working with children preferred
  • Has or is studying for an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a supporting field of study

Personal Qualifications:

  • Fits well in our culture of accountability, trust, fairness and openness to coaching and feedback.
  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly and recap
  • Works effectively both independently and within a team environment
