Schedule:

Starting in May, this role extends through the summer and continues into the academic year.

Part-time of 15 to 20 hours per week. Flexible schedule requires availability during typical office hours of 8am and 5pm Monday thru Friday along with occasional evenings and weekends due to events.

 

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $14.00 to $14.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Primary responsibilities for our Marketing Design Intern include but are not limited to:

  • Helps with designing and creating promotional materials including instore signage, displays and advertisements.
  • Supports in the production and editing of videos and photos.
  • Create and occasionally publish engaging content across all social media platforms as directed.
  • Stay updated on the latest design and social medial trends.
  • Promotes University Book Store at events as needed. 
  • Work with the Marketing Supervisor on various projects.
  • Performs all additional duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • As needed will attend events as a University Book Store representative.
  • Acts as the store mascot “Booky” as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Background using InDesign and Photoshop.
  • Knowledge of Illustrator is a plus.
  • Familiar with major social media platforms.
  • Photography experience a plus.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
