​​​​​We are a young family located on the west side of Madison seeking a reliable, caring, and experienced part-time nanny to join our family.

Schedule

  • 3 days per week

  • Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • Days of the week are flexible and can be adjusted based on your availability

About the Role
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and has experience caring for children of all ages, including infants.  You will be caring for our two children: a 4-year-old and a 3-month-old.  The ideal candidate is nurturing, attentive, and confident managing daily routines in a safe and engaging way.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, loving care in our home

  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play, including outside

  • Support naps, meals, and daily routines

  • Maintain a safe and tidy environment for the children

Qualifications

  • Prior experience caring for children (infant experience strongly preferred)

  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Reliable safe transportation (valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred)

  • Dependable, responsible, and communicative

Compensation

  • Competitive and negotiable pay, based on experience

Start Date

  • April 6, 2026, or as soon as available thereafter

Position Summary/Job Duties:

This is a hands-on, rewarding opportunity for a nurturing and enthusiastic caregiver who truly enjoys working with young children.  Our ideal nanny is someone who brings warmth, patience, and energy to each day and takes pride in creating a safe, engaging, and loving environment.  You’ll play an important role in supporting our children’s growth, routines, and milestones while becoming a trusted part of our family.  Key responsibilties will include:

  • Provide attentive, nurturing, and age-appropriate care for two children (ages 4 years and 3 months)

  • Ensure the children’s safety and well-being at all times

  • Feed, diaper, and care for the infant, including supporting nap and feeding schedules

  • Engage the 4-year-old in creative play, learning activities, and outdoor time as appropriate

  • Facilitate naps, transitions, and daily routines for both children

  • Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children

  • Transport children safely when needed (e.g., walks, nearby activities)

  • Maintain a clean and organized environment related to the children (tidying play areas, bottles, toys, etc.)

  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding daily activities, milestones, and any concerns

  • Follow family guidelines and parenting preferences
