Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are looking for a very specific type of person. We need a magical person. Is this you? Read on! We need someone who has an eye for safety, who consistently knows where all kids are, who can multitask and manage a group of up to 18 energetic kids. Someone who can coach a kid who is 8 feet up a tree, while they hearing a very interesting story about a fox. We need someone who can lead a group of children, and get them to engage without getting mad or yelling at them. We need someone who loves nature so much, their enthusiasm and joy for it is contagious and palpable. We need someone who PLAYS WITH the kids- not someone who stands and watches. We need someone that kids LOVE. We need someone who adores kids! Can you bandage a skinned knee, while you text a parent, while you tell jokes with the kids nearby? Are you so into your job that time FLIES? We need you!
Qualifications:
Folks who are in Elementary Education with at least some practicum or student teaching experience would be FANTASTIC. Any work with larger groups of kids is great.
Physical Demands
Being outside in all WI weather.
