Schedule:
This full-time, seasonal position runs from June 22nd to August 21st, with two curriculum planning days on June 11th and 12th. The hours worked will be 9:00 am to 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
Salary/Wage Range:
Hourly $18.00 to $20.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are looking for a Summer Camp Teacher to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate is someone who is energetic, and seeks to engage elementary aged youth in creative and educational activities that foster growth, curiosity, and self-expression.
Plan and implement educational, social, recreational, and artistic activities for After School program participants.
Design and lead daily activites that are developmentally appropriate and culturally inclusive.
Incorporate Social Emotional Learning (SEL) standards into daily programming to support children’s emotional and interpersonal growth.
Maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment in compliance with State Licensing and City of Madison Accreditation standards
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Foundational knowledge of child development theory and its application to school-age programming.
Completion of 80 hours or 3 credits in Early Childhood Education as required by the State of Wisconsin
CPR and First Aid Training
Physical Demands
Must pass a physical examination and have a negative TB test. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
