1146 Vegan is a small local pop up business selling vegan and gluten-free baked goods and juices at farmers markets and community events around Madison.

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and trustworthy person who shares our passion for our products to help run our market stand at the Dane County Farmer's Market and other local events.

Must have at least one Saturday 5.45am - 2 pm availability per month. Other shifts vary on Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday as needed.

Experience not required! We will train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Help set up the booth in the early morning

• Greet customers and provide friendly service

• Handle sales and process payments

• Package baked goods and restock displays

• Maintain a clean and organized booth

• Help pack up and tear down at the end of the market

• Other duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, positive attitude and good customer service skills

• Reliable and punctual (market mornings start early!)

• Hardworking and able to multitask.

• Comfortable standing for several hours

• Able to lift and carry light equipment and boxes (20–30 lbs)

• Interest in food (plus if interest in vegan/gluten free), farmers markets, or small businesses is a plus
