Department Overview:

D1 Training is a national fitness company with more than 150 franchisess.   https://d1training.com/what-is-d1 - here is the link or address to the D1 info page.   My partner Charlie and I purchased the facility on Oct 01, 2025 and are looking to grow and to grow we need sales people passionate about sports.   Local Madison knowledge is great, but we are also looking for people that want to grow and put in some work.   This postion could grow to full time at some point and if you are succesful, roles could open up across the D1 spectrum.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are looking for a talented bi-lingual individual to both be involved in the sales process to the Hispanic community and also work with those clients on the turf!   You will be on key in helping us build the business!

Job description:

Position: Strength & Conditioning Coach D1 Madison West

Compensation: Hourly + sales commission with unlimited personal training

Benefits: Flexible schedule, commission plan on sales, free membership valued at $2,600, employee discount

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers and connect in person with community members to drive new membership leads
  • Bilingual Spanish / English is required. We prefer a high level of fluency due to coaching and sales.
  • Looking for part time morning/afternoon/evening coach for group fitness and personal training.
  • Training ages 7-Adults that delivers results- speed, strength, & agility
  • Our athletes are looking to improve overall fitness, train to reach the starting team, collegiate and pro levels in a premier gym
  • D1 Coaches exhibit the ability to adapt and customize programs
  • Chance to build a personal training book – unlimited earning potential

Qualifications:

  • Assoc. or Bachelor's degree in related field, OR working towards degree
  • Bilingual Spanish / English is required. We prefer a high level of fluency.
  • Prefer if certified, employer sponsors certification for the right candidates (ACE, NASM, CSCS)
  • 2+ years strength and conditioning experience preferred
  • First-Aid/CPR/AED training/certifications preferred
  • A background in high-performance athletic playing experience is a plus
  • Comfortable making outbound calls and engaging with community members in person

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Bring energy, motivation and expertise to every session!
  • Ensuring every D1 workout is implemented in a safe and consistent manner
  • Up to12 hours of group training workouts/week + any Personal, Small Group and Team Training
  • General facility cleanliness and equipment upkeep
  • Make calls to potential customers and connect in person with community members to drive new membership leads
  • Represent D1 at community events, schools, and local businesses to grow brand awareness

Role: Part Time, M-F and occasional Weekends. Looking for PMs and some AMs
