Department Overview:

Anticipated Hours Per Week

 24hrs/wk

Schedule:

Set weekly shifts:

  • Monday - Saturday: 4PM-8PM

    If you are not available for all days but can work some of these shifts, we still encourage you to apply.

  • Flexibility: Hours can be adjusted if discussed between caregiver and client. 

  • Location: Near Park Street

Salary/Wage Range:

 Hourly $15.00 to $17.50

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Compassion Caregivers, LLC is seeking a caring and dependable part-time caregiver to assist in providing support for a 63yo female member in her home. This position is ideal for students in Nursing, Medical, or PT/OT programs looking for hands-on experience. No prior experience is needed – training will be provided.
 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Assisting with bathing, dressing, and grooming

  • Assisting with meal prep

  • Providing supervision with mobility and safe transfers

  • Assisting with toileting and incontinent care

  • Assisting with blood glucose monitoring

  • Offering companionship and encouragement in daily activities

  • Following care plan and communicating with family and RN as needed

Qualifications:

  • Caring, patient, and dependable

  • Interest in healthcare, nursing, or caregiving

  • Must have transportation to and from the client’s home 

  • Must have a cell phone for communication and Sandata (EVV) purposes

  • Nursing, Medical, or PT/OT students encouraged to apply

  • No experience necessary – all training provided

Physical Demands

 -Ability to assist with mobility, including supporting or transferring client as needed -Ability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods -Comfortable assisting with personal care tasks (bathing, dressing, hygiene)
