Department Overview:

The Office of Online & Professional Learning Resources (OPLR) is seeking a student to assist with various support-related services for online students, primarily services related to success coaching and financial aid. •    Flexible hours based on your schedule.
•    This position may be eligible for telecommuting. Telecommuting agreement will be finalized upon hire.
•    Office of Online & Professional Learning Resources (OPLR) is located at 780 Regent Street, near the Kohl Center and within walking distance of UW-Madison campus.
•    10-20 hours per week with flexible scheduling
o    Office hours are 8:00am-6:00pm, Monday-Thursday; 8:00am-4:30pm, Friday
o    Work early or work late, depending on your needs.
o    Additional hours are available during winter, spring, and summer breaks.

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The Office of Online & Professional Learning Resources (OPLR) is seeking a student to assist with various support-related services for online students, primarily services related to success coaching and financial aid. 

Responsibilities:

•    Maintain accurate student information and enrollment plan records in CRM (customer relationship management) system
•    Assist with monitoring, managing, and logging student communications (primarily email).
•    Track steps in student onboarding processes and work closely with success coaching and financial aid teams throughout student        onboarding
•    Scanning, filing, and processing mail
•    Data entry
•    Use of various systems, including CRM and document imaging systems
•    Assist with special projects or activities as assigned, or desired

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

•    Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
•    Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
•    Skilled in typing, data entry
•    Attention to detail
•    Ability to apply judgment and analysis to work performed
