Position Summary/Job Duties:
We are looking for a dependable and kind college student for a short-term summer position in Shorewood Hills, very near campus. The job runs from June 1 through July 3, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., with longer hours until 3:00 p.m. from June 1 to June 15. Pay is $13 per hour.
Our 10-year-old son will be doing an intensive online reading program for five weeks, and we need someone to be home with him during that time. The job mainly involves being present, helping with short 10-minute brain breaks, and troubleshooting the occasional computer issue. Most of the time, he will be working independently, so you can study, read, exercise, or do your own work while staying nearby and available if needed.
From noon to 1:00 p.m., the focus is lunch and fun. We have a beautiful screen porch to hang out on, and a friendly mini-red heeler who always appreciates belly rubs. This would be a great fit for a student looking for a low-key summer job with plenty of time for independent work.
