Department Overview:
Riley's is not your average liquor store—we are a downtown Madison institution that has been serving the community for over 50 years! We sell a wide variety of fine wines, spirits, beer, and all the odd and ends too! Position Summary/Job Duties:
Our employees share a wide-array of responsibilities including restocking, cleaning, assisting customers in finding and selecting their purchases, and cashiering. There is room to take on additional responsibilities and learn the beverage retail trade from the ground up. Many past employees have continued their careers in distribution and sales management for some of the biggest names in the industry.
No experience is necessary, but past retail employment is a plus. Hours are flexible though we of course have a greater need for staff who are available during peak hours on Fridays and Saturdays. Some heavy lifting (40lbs+) is required from time to time. Hourly pay is negotiable and those able to work during those in-demand hours and take on more hours weekly can earn more.
