Cedar & Spice is a creative design and fabrication studio that transforms big ideas into unforgettable, Instagram-worthy brand activations across the Midwest. What started in a garage in 2018 has grown into a full workshop where a tight-knit team of designers, artists, and fabricators push each other to learn new skills, explore fresh concepts, and bring ambitious projects to life. We approach every build with creativity, craftsmanship, and problem-solving, and take pride in our ability to create something new using materials almost entirely harvested from previous projects.

We’re looking for a welder/fabricator to join Cedar & Spice’s Standby Squad, our on-call roster of trusted specialists we bring in when projects call for it. Most work is aluminum (spool gun on our Hobart Handler 190), with occasional steel and stainless welding, supporting custom builds, structures, and one-off fabrication. This isn’t a consistent-hours role- it’s for someone solid we can call when welding is needed and trust to jump in, work clean, and keep things moving alongside our team.

• Strong aluminum welding skills (MIG w/ spool gun)
