Part-Time Companion & Assistant for Engaging Downtown Senior
Are you someone who enjoys meaningful conversation, creative hobbies, and making a real difference in someone’s day-to-day life? A warm and independent senior woman living downtown is seeking a compassionate, reliable companion and assistant for the summer—with the potential to continue into the fall.
This role is all about connection and support. Time together includes friendly conversation, sharing meals, light housekeeping, and helping with hobbies like sewing or quilting (a bonus if you enjoy these too!). Occasional outings—such as trips to appointments, shopping, or enjoying a sunny day at the park—are also part of the experience (a vehicle is provided).
Schedule:
Flexible and part-time, typically 2–3 days per week for 2–4 hours per visit. Most shifts will be on weekdays, with occasional weekends if possible. An ideal week would include 8-12 hours of companion time.
Compensation:
$20/hour, with flexibility based on experience.
Start Date:
May 12 preferred.
