We are looking for help approximately 1–2 weeknights per month and 1–2 weekend afternoons per month. Exact dates and times may vary month to month, but we would plan ahead whenever possible.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are a family in Sun Prairie looking for a regular babysitter to help with occasional childcare for our two young children: a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old baby.

We are looking for someone dependable, warm, and comfortable caring for both an infant and a toddler. Responsibilities may include playing with and supervising our toddler, bottle-feeding, diaper changes, soothing the baby, and helping with naps or bedtime routines.

This would be a great fit for someone who enjoys working with young children and is looking for a consistent, occasional babysitting opportunity with a local family.

Qualifications:
  • Experience caring for infants and toddlers
  • Comfortable caring for a 3-month-old baby and a 2-year-old
  • Reliable transportation to Sun Prairie
  • Dependable, communicative, and punctual
  • Comfortable with basic infant care, including bottles, diaper changes, and soothing
  • CPR/First Aid certification is a plus
  • Located in or near Sun Prairie is a plus
  • Comfortable around a friendly dog

Physical Demands

 Ability to safely lift, carry, and care for an infant and toddler; ability to sit, play, and move around with young children.
