Schedule:

  • Hours: Approximately 2 hours per week of house management (time flexible) and/or approximately 2-2.75 hours every other week of babysitting one six-year-old on some Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45-7:45/8:30
  • Schedule: Flexible, with ability to adjust based on family needs
  • Start Date: Flexible, ideally within the next month
  • Location: Middleton, WI
  • Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $18.00 to $20.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

If you love checking things off a to-do list and take pride in making life easier for others, you may be a great fit! If you love playing with Legos, reading, and doing puzzles, you might like to babysit for our child.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary from day to day, but may include:

Household Management

  • Managing errands (grocery shopping, returns, errands)
  • Maintaining household inventory and keeping essentials stocked
  • Managing grocery lists and restocking
  • Cleaning out/organizing the refrigerator
  • Water plants

Home Organization & Upkeep

  • Laundry (wash, fold, put away)
  • Dishes and kitchen upkeep
  • General tidying (but we have separate cleaners)
  • Organizing projects (pantry, closets, child’s spaces, storage areas)
  • Keeping child’s toys and common areas orderly

Family Support

  • Lunch or snack prep for child
  • Providing childcare support as needed (e.g., supervising play) (optional)

Qualifications:

Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar household support, nanny, or assistant role preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
  • Comfortable working in a home with a child
