Maurer's Urban Market (M.U.M. LLC) is seeking dependable, customer-focused General Grocery Team Members to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, organized, and ready to provide an outstanding shopping experience. You will assist customers, stock merchandise, maintain product displays, and support daily store operations.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional customer service.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays with grocery merchandise.
• Rotate products using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
• Monitor inventory levels and replenish merchandise as needed.
• Build and maintain attractive displays and end caps.
• Keep aisles, shelves, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist with unloading deliveries and organizing inventory in the stockroom.
• Verify product pricing and ensure shelf tags are accurate.
• Remove damaged, expired, or recalled products from sales areas.
• Respond promptly to customer questions and help customers locate merchandise.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Work in multiple departments as business needs require.
• Perform other duties assigned by management

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous barista, coffee shop, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 pounds.
• Reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
