Family of five with kids ages 3, 6, and 9. 

Expecting 5-6 hours per week. Our ideal schedule is 2 shifts per week of 2-3 hours, worked during weekday business hours or Sunday (8:30-4:30). 

We're an active family of five in Madison's near west side and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented household assistant to help keep our home running smoothly. My wife and I both work (including occasional travel) and with three kids (ages 3 to 9) and we need some help with a few key tasks, including grocery pick-up, laundry, meal prep, and general household chores. We need 5-6 hours per week with flexibility built around your schedule and ours. Our ideal schedule is 2 shifts of 2-3 hours. 

The ideal candidate is trustworthy, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently in a family home and willing to commit to at least 6 months (assuming agreed mutual fit). You don't need to be a professional chef or cleaning expert — just someone organized, capable, and genuinely invested in helping things run well. Hours are flexible and can be shaped around class schedules or other commitments, making this a great fit for a UW-Madison student looking for consistent part-time work. Preferred candidates have access to their own car to do grocery pick-up, but will consider those without a car -- we're right off the busline..

For the right person, there may also be opportunities for occasional early-evening childcare to support after-school activities — an optional add-on for those with child care experience and interest in extra hours.
