Schedule:

One 2.5 hour fMRI appointment and one 15 minute follow-up survey one month later.

Qualifications:

All participants must be between 18-24 years old, right-handed, not suffer from claustrophobia, will not currently be taking any psychoactive medications, no history of psychiatric or neurological disorders, will have normal (or corrected to normal) vision, not have metal in their body that is contraindicated for fMRI, and will not currently be pregnant. In addition, the current study will not recruit prisoners, participants with impaired decision-making capacity, individuals who are receiving impatient or outpatient services for mental illness, developmental disability, or alcohol and other drug abuse, individuals who are protectively placed by a court in a treatment facility, veterans/military personnel, emancipated minors, or anyone especially vulnerable to manipulation or inducements for participation as a result of their illness or socioeconomic condition.
