Department Overview:

The Educator Learning Research & Practice (ELRP) Department of WIDA is housed in the WCER of the School of Education. WIDA supports students, families, educators and administrators with high quality, research based tools and resources dedicated to language development for multilingual learners.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  2. Excellent communicator
  3. Willing to ask questions
  4. Strong organizational skills
  5. Experience with Canvas & Zoom preferred

Position Summary/Job Duties:

The student position works in the Educator Learning Research & Practice (ELRP) Department of WIDA, housed in the WCER of the School of Education. WIDA supports students, families, educators and administrators with high quality, research based tools and resources dedicated to language development for multilingual learners. This position supports the ELRP Coordinators office We are looking for a responsible individual with attention to detail. The position can be extended beyond December based on performance.

The majority of the work can be done remotely. However, there may be occasions in which we request that you work from the office to complete certain tasks. These would include any tasks that require access to secure documents, organizing and shipping workshop materials and possibly moderating webinars.
