Department Overview:
MSCR or Madison School & Community Recreation is Madison’s public recreation provider. We offer everything you would find in your typical community rec department in an accessible, inclusive setting. Programs include swimming, arts & enrichment, adult & 50+ fitness, sport leagues, outdoor pursuits and more. As a department of the Madison Metropolitan School District(MMSD), we also provide afterschool and summer programming in Madison elementary, middle and high schools.

Minimum Qualifications: Experience working with people with disabilities. Preferred Qualifications: Adapted recreation experience.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Provide instruction on the skills and rules of Pickleball to individuals with disabilities. Encourage socialization among participants in a supportive learning environment. While an understanding of the game is preferred, staff can be trained on Pickleball rules and requirements prior to program start. Staff will be responsible for court setup/breakdown as well as the management of equipment.
