Department Overview:
The Community Economic Development program promotes local economic well-being and quality of life in Wisconsin communities. We work with and support community economic development practitioners and organizations, tribal and governmental entities, and business and nonprofit organizations and help gain access to the information, research, education, and technical assistance necessary to make informed decisions.

Qualifications:
Desktop research experience Background/experience in agriculture, agritourism, business development, extension, or a related field Employment will require a criminal background check.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to research a subject thoroughly Ability to work independently with little supervision Attention to detail Strong organizational abilities Commitment to seeing a project to completion Familiarity with farm management is a plus but not a requirement
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Researching agritourism curricula from other state extension services Categorize and organize information to be used for curriculum development Assist with the curriculum development of the agritourism business development training Prepare PPT slides for the cohort training
