Department Overview:
The MadAbility Lab develops and evaluates systems to improve the accessibility of computer technology for people with disabilities.

Schedule:
At your own pace, though we expect a large number (more than 1,000) annotated pictures submitted per person.

Qualifications:
- You are able to operate a virtual reality (VR) headset and controllers - You are interested in VR and AI research Priority will be given to applicants who own or have access to virtual reality (VR) headsets, have existing VR or AI experience, and are interested in relevant research (e.g. a current / future PhD or research-related career path).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- You can speak and write English at working proficiency or higher
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- You will be tasked to independently record and take screenshots of your own VR footage of free apps on the Meta or Steam app stores - You will be asked to annotate images by identifying items present in each image using an online tool - Compensation will be provided by way of independent study research credit (e.g., COMP SCI 699), acknowledgement in the paper, or potential co-authorship on the paper

Able to use a VR headset and controllers
