Department Overview:
National Magnetic Resonance Facility at Madison (NMRFAM) is a resource that aims to expand the frontiers of biomolecular NMR spectroscopy in solution and the solid state. Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Inventory Management: Keep track of products, do inventory counts, and make sure everything is where it should be. - Order Processing: Help process incoming orders, pack and ship products, and update systems with order statuses. - Receiving & Inspection: Check incoming shipments, report any issues, and make sure things are stored properly. - Facility Organization: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, maximizing space for efficiency. - Shipping & Distribution: Prepare shipping documents and work with carriers to make sure products are delivered on time. - Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other scientists in the facility - Problem Resolution: Handle any inventory or shipment problems quickly. - Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
