Department Overview:
The University of Wisconsin Department of Pediatrics promotes and enhances the health of children through outstanding clinical care, exemplary education of pediatric trainees, performance of cutting edge research, and vigorous advocacy. Our research is a team effort! We have an approach where all team members have a part in creating an environment of trust, respect, and ethical, well-formed research practice. Team members should help foster psychological safety where team members feel able to share ideas and concerns, encourage discussion and engagement. Dr. Selkie is a pediatrician and Adolescent Medicine specialist, and team members have backgrounds in medicine, psychology, and public health. This position will involve direct contact with adolescents and their parents as well as office-based work.

Schedule:
Flexible work schedule to accommodate coursework. Looking for a commitment of between 6-10 hours per week. Office is open M-F For social media content reviewers hours will be M-F from 8am-7pm in-person only.

Qualifications:
Required qualifications: Must be able to commit to a minimum of 6 hours/ week Must be willing to call potential participants on the phone open to working in-person Able to commit to spring semester and summer 2024 Preferred qualifications REDCap software usage
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Passion for psychology research, interest in working on a interdisciplinary research project Strong interest in adolescent health and wellbeing Ability to collaborate positively in a team setting
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Content Coders will be conducting systematic reviews of social media content posted and viewed by teens. Attendance at scheduled weekly meetings over Zoom or in-person
Physical Demands:
This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely, at an offsite, non-campus work location. Will include sitting for extended periods at a computer station
