Schedule:
Hours should be scheduled between the hours of 8:30 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday with some evenings/weekends commitments, flexible scheduling. Regular one-on-ones with your supervisor. Hold 5:30-6:30 PM on Mondays for team and Center-wide meetings.

Knowledge of community-based learning Facilitation skills Ability to work well with both instructors and students Ability to work independently on a flexible schedule Demonstrates a commitment to the values of equity and responsible community engagement.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Provide logistical support for instructors with the development and/or implementation of CBL courses (e.g. utilizing Canvas, placing students with community organizations) Help facilitate the linking of engagement experiences to course content Assist with evaluation of CBL experiences for students and community partners Assist in the development and facilitation of reflection sessions Inform students regarding transportation options to community sites and other resources Monitor student/community organization relationships Check in with site placements for community feedback The CBL intern’s tasks include: assisting with development and implementation of CBL courses, providing orientation sessions and other trainings, and facilitating the linkage of community experiences to course content through in-class discussions and reflection. Qualified candidates will be self-motivated, responsible, independent workers with good time management, interpersonal, communication, public speaking, and organizational skills. Familiarity with CBL (e.g. having taken a CBL course) is preferred, but not required.
