Department Overview:
The Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s highly ranked public School of Education is one of the first and most productive education research centers in the world. It has assisted scholars and practitioners develop, submit, conduct and share grant-funded education research for 60 years.

Qualifications:
Current UW Madison Undergraduate Student Summer 2025 availability between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM Monday through Friday
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
● Previous office experiences preferred ● Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite ● Excellent customer service, organization, and attention to detail ● Ability to manage time independently
Position Summary/Job Duties:
● Issue keys and update key inventory in an online database ● Assist research projects with administrative tasks as needed ● Assist with requests for booking conference rooms via EMS ● Direct phone calls and respond to voicemails ● Greet and welcome WCER Front Office visitors ● Scan and upload documents to shared filing systems ● Monitor office supply inventory ● Enter financial data into grants and accounting databases ● Assist with making photocopies and posting fliers/notices around WCER building ● Sort and distribute incoming U.S. and interdepartmental mail ● Support Facilities department with general office, building, and conference room cleanliness and maintenance ● Guide individuals within the building and campus ● Other duties as needed
