Department Overview:
Web Platforms/Services (WPS) is a group within the Division of Information Technology (DoIT) at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Our team provides enterprise-scale services that enable the creation of standards-based websites, web applications, and digital experiences for a wide variety of stakeholders at UW–Madison, across the Universities of Wisconsin and other higher education institutions in the nation.

Qualifications:
Familiarity with User Experience methodology Familiarity with web accessibility and/or content strategy Strong written communication and/or technical writing experience Basic HTML/CSS (optional)

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Assisting with the creation of user testing plans and scripts Synthesizing and presenting user research Prototyping user interface improvements to the KB application Updating accessibility documentation for the KB application, including our Accessibility Conformance Report Assisting with other team operational tasks, such as reviewing KB user documentation
Physical Demands:
Frequent sitting and computer work.
