Department Overview:
We are seeking student workers to join our Stores warehouse team. This position plays a vital role in UW Facilities maintenance, repair and remodel projects. This is an onsite, active, and customer-oriented position that can help you gain great experience for your future career.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6:00AM - 4:30PM. We are flexible, but look for 2-4 hour shift depending on your class schedule.

Qualifications:
Mechanical Background or customer service preferred but not required. Ability to demonstrate dedication and hard work.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Desire to learn and grow.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Receive and distribute materials. Review received materials to ensure they are the proper items and are in acceptable condition, stage material, and receive material into AssetWorks software (training onsite). Clean, organize, and cycle count materials in warehouse. Assist warehouse staff as requested with projects and other duties. Communicate with UW tradespeople about their orders and our Stores materials team. Organize and count Stores materials regularly. The position involves moving around in the warehouse regularly and maintaining awareness of your surroundings to stay safe. We regularly handle materials for various trades, such as electricians, steamfitters, plumbers and carpenters. This is a great opportunity for people who enjoy staying busy and active as well as interested in learning about the trades.
