Qualifications:
-Currently enrolled student taking accredited coursework -No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided -All majors welcome
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
-Customer service experience is a plus -Commit to work schedule -Willing to learn new things -Team player -Knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office preferred -Technical experience preferred
Position Summary/Job Duties:
-Primarily responsible for installing, moving, removing, repairing and maintaining computer hardware, peripherals and applications on DoIT managed clients -Ensuring that the devices and applications installed matches the inventory -Install workstation operating systems and applications from centrally maintained images and customize them for the customer -Answer computer related support calls form DoIT customer, resolving problems reported via the calls, and entering/updating call status in out call management system -Participate in planning, coordinating and implementing new and modified systems -Support of University Housing residents, staff and housing computer labs (Midea Centers) -Perform other tasks and projects as assigned related to end user support
