 Work study preferred. Experience in a wet lab via work or class preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience in science preferred.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are a microbiology lab looking for some extra help with common lab chores. This is not a research position. However, we encourage students who are interested in undergraduate research positions as this job may be a good stepping stone to get experience in a wet lab setting. Many students who have held this position in the past have found research positions either in our own lab or in others.

Some of the duties include:
-Preparing and autoclaving media
-Preparing simple chemical solutions
-Washing and cleaning dishware/lab appliances
-Restocking lab supplies

Physical Demands:

Lifting, Standing, Bending, Moving, Carrying 50 lbs
