Your participation in this research is expected to take "4.5 hours" over the course of 3 sessions. One for training, one session for completing the task with bare hands and one sessions for completing the task with the softhand exoskeleton glove ironhand.

Qualifications:
You must be over the age of 18, native English speaker (or fluent in English), have no prior hand injuries, have no implanted pacemaker, and no allergies to tape. If you meet these criteria and would like to participate, email ergolab@wisc.edu to schedule a time to meet.

Ability to stand for 30 min, operate manual hand tools like a crimper, or a power tool like a sander and use a softhand exoskeleton glove Ironhand®.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Participants are needed for research study to understand the effectiveness of a softhand exoskeleton glove Ironhand® in industrial manufacturing. Your participation in this research study is expected to take 4.5 hours, over the course of 3 sessions. In the first session, participants will be trained to operate manual hand tools like a crimper, or a power tool like a sander and the use of softhand exoskeleton glove Ironhand®. In the next two sessions you will be asked to do a series of brief tasks using your bare hands and while wearing the Ironhand®. You are invited to volunteer as a participant for this research study in the ECB, 1550 Engineering Drive, Rm 2068 from 03/10/2025. You will be compensated $14 per hour for your participation.
