Qualifications:
Valid driver's license for 2 years and able to drive a university vehicle to the field station (~1-2 hour distance, one-way)
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Experience in working on a field experiment. Basic understanding of soil and water sampling or willingness to learn soil and water sampling using an automated tool like this: https://www.bestsuppliers.com/products/y3hcczbjxdje/portable-soil-sampling-rig-gasolinepowered-sampler-soil-sampler
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Assisting other lab members in collecting field soil and water samples for research projects this summer.
Physical Demands:
Requires heavy lifting of 30-40 lbs in the field.
