Department Overview:
The Dean’s Office is the administrative umbrella for the UW School of Veterinary Medicine. It houses the dean, several associate and assistant deans who supervise distinct administrative units for the school, and their support staff.

Qualifications:
- Able to work 20 hours per week during the academic year and summer - Must be a currently enrolled UW-Madison student - Have completed at least two semesters in higher education - Maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA - Superb oral and written communication - Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. PowerPoint experience would be a plus. - High degree of organization and attention to detail - Knowledge of the University
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and ability to learn quickly - Able to hold confidentiality in a high-profile office
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Provide general clerical and office support for professional staff members(e.g. typing, preparing for mailings, database entry and projects) - Answer main office phone and manage the email account - Run errands around campus
Physical Demands:
Desk work. Ability to lift 40 lbs.
