Schedule:
15-30 hours a week over the summer. Looking for individuals with availability Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday between 7AM and 2PM. Occasional weekends required. Shifts are usually 4-6 hours long.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
This is a good opportunity for Animal Science majors as well as Pre-Veterinary students to get hands on experience caring for small rodents. Under the supervision of the facility managers and the Animal Research Technicians those hired for this job will be asked to change and sanitize animal cages, inspect the animals for health concerns, and help clean and maintain the facility.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Changing cages for mice, rats, and gerbils, and cleaning and sanitizing the used equipment. Inspecting animals for health concerns and reporting any that are found to the campus veterinarians. Cleaning and general upkeep of the facility.
Physical Demands:
Lifting 30lbs, performing active work duties for up to 3 hours at a time
