Department Overview:

The Epistemic Analytics lab creates novel computational techniques and statistical tools that enable researchers to construct quantitative models of rich qualitative data in education, healthcare, policy, and other contexts

Qualifications:

Current UW Madison Undergraduate Student

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Attention to detail
A creative and proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to quickly learn new skills
Ability to organize and manage simultaneous tasks
Ability to complete projects within deadlines
Exceptional communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Suite and Google Drive preferred

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Assist in creating and curating content for social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn).
Execute email newsletters and other digital communications.
Support the planning and execution of communications campaigns and events.
Help gather and analyze engagement data to improve communication strategies.
Assist in maintaining the department's website and other digital content as needed.
Contribute to the development and distribution of newsletters, brochures, or other academic communications to external and internal stakeholders.
Track grant preparation logistics and timelines.
Monitor member publications and assist with dissemination logistics.
Assist with Center budget administration and forecasting
