Department Overview:
The SMPH Facilities Services team is headquartered in the Health Sciences Learning Center (750 Highland Avenue). These positions will aim to support the mailroom located at the Medical Sciences Center (1300 University Avenue).

Schedule:
We are looking for two students who can work 29 hours per week between 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday, for the summer. If an employee works for multiple divisions or at another institution, all hours worked/reported must be combined and stay below a 30-hour weekly average. Students will be assigned to the Medical Sciences Center (MSC) mailroom.

Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in an educational institution.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Positive attitude, attention to detail, customer service oriented, dependable, problem solving and works well in a team environment.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
- Completes mail processing and distribution-related duties for incoming and outgoing mail according to best practice to ensure timely receipt and quality handling of incoming and outgoing U.S. and institutional mail. - Completes mail shipment and delivery transactions under direct. supervision according to customer specifications and in conjunction with established pickup and delivery schedules, rules, and regulations. - Investigates and troubleshoots lost or misdirected mail items - Processes notifications to appropriate entities to relay delivery status and provide excellent customer service.

Ability to lift 25 lbs.
