Department Overview:

The Department of Entomology oversees the undergraduate major and certificate in Global Health.

Minimum: 10 Maximum: 12

Schedule:

10-12 hours each week, flexible schedule, remote work, one weekly instructional team meeting (remote).

Salary/Wage Range/Lump Sum:

Qualifications:

Graduate student in human health fields, environmental sciences or agricultural sciences.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of public health, planetary health, global health, one health or environmental or agricultural sciences as they relate to human health and well-being. Skill in writing, reading, and familiarity with learning management software (Canvas). Ability to meet weekly deadlines and follow detailed grading rubrics.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Hourly assistants will 1) attend team meetings to review rubrics, and 2) assess student work, including weekly discussion posts and portfolio assignments.
