Schedule:

There are several sections of PSYCH 225 Research Methods we are seeking candidates. Each TA attends Lecture and teaches 2 Labs.

-Lecture 1 (Tues/Thurs 1-2:15pm) + Lab 301 (Tues 2:35-4:15pm) and Lab 302 (Tues 4:30-6:10pm)
-Lecture 2 (Tues/Thurs 2:30-3:45pm) + Lab 305 (Wed 8:30-10:10am) and Lab 306 (Wed 10:25am-12:05pm)
-Lecture 2 (Tues/Thurs 2:30-3:45pm) + Lab 307 (Wed 12:15pm-1:55pm) and Lab 308 (Wed 2:10pm-3:50pm)
-Lecture 3 (Mon/Wed 9:30-10:45am) + Lab 309 (Mon 12:40-2:20pm) and Lab 310 (Mon 2:35-4:15pm)
-Lecture 3 (Mon/Wed 9:30-10:45am) + Lab 311 (Mon 2:35pm-4:15pm) and Lab 312 (Mon 4:30-6:10pm)
-Lecture 4 (Mon/Wed 2:30-3:45pm) + Lab 315 (Tues 12:40-2:20pm) and Lab 316 (Tues 2:35-4:15pm)

$2,990

Qualifications:

$1,495.23 paid bi-weekly (approx. $2,990/month)

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Must have graduate student standing at UW-Madison
- Must have an undergraduate degree in Psychology, or related field OR enrolled in a graduate program related to Psychology
- Must have extensive knowledge of experimental methods in psychology, with evidence of taking a similar course at the undergraduate or graduate level; must have very strong writing skills and thorough knowledge of APA style writing

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Assist the course instructor as needed (grading, communication with students, exam proctoring, support student learning, team meetings), and teach labs.
