IvyRead is an educational startup focused on promoting English proficiency among English as Second Language students through the use of authentic leveled reading materials. The company was founded by Mr. Mi Yan, a Cornell alum and a former faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

The instructors will teach online. Our students are around the globe. Applicants need to be able to work in the early mornings. Our major tutoring time is 5:00 am to 7:00 am CST. We will coordinate with you about the teaching time to find ones that work for both.

 Position Summary/Job Duties: 
 
IvyRead is hiring ESL/EFL teachers to support our tutoring programs for preschool and elementary students. The classes are based on leveled reading materials. Teachers provide online English pronunciation, reading discussion, and fluency classes in the 2025 fall and spring semester. The training and class materials are provided.  Physical Demands: 
 
Ability to sit in front of a computer and camera for 40 minutes to conduct one teaching session.
