Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to search through datasets and online directories for key pieces of information Ability to work independently and iteratively with social scientists on an ongoing research project.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
The students selected to be a Data Collector will be given a dataset filled with researchers who work in the fields of artificial intelligence or gene editing. Data Collector will search for physical mailing address information for these researchers through the URL found in the dataset as a starting point. Additional searching through other online databases (faculty directory pages, Google Scholar accounts, academic journals) may be needed to find a usable physical mailing address. The end product for this position will be a dataset with physical mailing address information for the researchers in the allocated sheet for an ongoing social science project.
