Department Overview:

Communication Arts incorporates weekly film screenings for many of its courses. This position would work with the other staff of the IMC to conduct these screenings.

Minimum: 6 Maximum: 15

Schedule:

3:30pm - 9:30pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, depending on course screening schedule. Additional or fewer screenings may occur per week. Shifts would be split between multiple projectionists.

Qualifications:

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and high presentation standards required. Knowledge of and passion for film history and previous experience with projection are advantageous. Must be an enrolled student.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

We need someone who is reliable and cares about the presentation standards and able to pay close attention to details.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

- Must be available to work evenings (see schedule details)
- Project movies for classroom screenings via disc
- Operate projector, lights, and masking via touchscreen
- Work with Communication Arts staff to ensure smooth presentations
- Ability to identify and solve technical issues before screenings
