Department Overview:

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the position is a student interested in the technical and creative aspects of designing compelling data visualizations, with previous coursework and/or job experience using Tableau to create data visualizations. Prior experience as a grader for a university-level course is preferred but not required. Must be a current graduate student. Must have successfully taken the course or have knowledge of the subject. Cannot be currently enrolled in the course.

Excellent attention to detail, good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Job duties include reviewing the lecture material and lab problem set for each week to become familiar with the learning goals for the week; grading the weekly labs according to the answer key provided by the instructor; and entering the student feedback and scores into Canvas. Grading of each week's lab should be completed within one week after each lab's due date. This work is expected to take up to 10 hours per week.
