Department Overview:
The Maeda Lab welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Our research focuses on how plant metabolic pathways and enzymes have diversified through evolution. Flexible. This position is expected to work 6-12 hours per week and shifts can be scheduled Monday - Friday between 9AM and 5PM

Attention to details. Organizational skills. Dependable/reliable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
A student in science major is preferred but not a requirement. Previous laboratory experience is not necessary.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Cleaning glassware, organizing supplies, placing orders for reagents and supplies, keeping a chemical inventory, and preparing for some basic experiments e.g. preparing sample vials, culture media
Physical Demands:
This position doesn't involved physically demanding tasks, except from occasionally moving a 5-gallon water tank between a cart and a bench. If necessary, assistance from other lab members will be available.
