Department Overview:
The Maeda Lab welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Our research focuses on how plant metabolic pathways and enzymes have diversified through evolution. We investigate these questions using a combination of chemical, biochemical, genetic, and evolutionary approaches across a range of plant systems.

Flexible. This position is expected to work 6-12 hours per week and shifts can be scheduled Monday - Friday between 9AM and 5PM

Attention to details. Organizational skills. Dependable/reliable
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
A student in science major is preferred but not a requirement. Previous laboratory experience is not necessary.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Cleaning glassware, organizing supplies, placing orders for reagents and supplies, keeping a chemical inventory, and preparing for some basic experiments e.g. preparing sample vials, culture media
Physical Demands:
This position doesn't involved physically demanding tasks, except from occasionally moving a 5-gallon water tank between a cart and a bench. If necessary, assistance from other lab members will be available.
