Department Overview:
The Student Maintenance Technicians primary functions include assisting with day-to-day operations in the parking ramps with campus blocking projects and ramp maintenance tasks. Other responsibilities include, but not limited to, assisting with construction tasks that take place on campus and at the hospital. This position is an exciting opportunity to see behind the scenes of many initiatives that take place on campus.

Position Summary/Job Duties:
Transportation Services is seeking a student employee to support the Field Services Department with Maintenance. Operations which include: -Assists with keeping campus parking ramps clean (examples: picking up litter, sweeping and cleaning common areas, and using ride-on sweepers and power washers) -Assists with setting up barricades that direct pedestrian/vehicle flow during construction projects.
Physical Demands:
Position entails mostly walking, cleaning, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds. You can expect to active on your feet for 80% of each hour.
