Department Overview:
Our research interests pursue cell migration in normal and pathological processes such as wound healing, tumor metastasis and chronic inflammation using human cell culture and zebrafish as models.

Schedule:
Availability on weekday mornings (at least 2 days/week) from 9-12 for at least 1.5 hours is required. Hours are flexible but we would like at least a 5 hr/week commitment for six months.

Qualifications:
The successful applicant should have freshman or sophomore status, good grades, and an interest in biology.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
A general knowledge of chemistry and molecular biology is preferred.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Duties include feeding zebrafish 2-3 mornings a week, cleaning and maintaining the zebrafish facility, making general reagents, genotyping, stocking inventory, and helping to keep the fish facility organized.
Physical Demands:
lifting of 5-10 lbs on occasion
