This position offers 10–20 hours per week based on student availability and may be based at the Nick, Bakke, or Nielsen Tennis Stadium. The schedule includes a rotating commitment of every other weekend.

- Must be able to work 1-2 shifts during the week. - Must be available to work a shift every other weekend.

- Punctuality, communication, leadership, and organizational skills. - Ability to balance academic and job responsibilities. - Ability to move between Nicholas Recreation Center, Bakke Recreation & Wellbeing Center, and Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
Position Summary The student custodial lead is the highest student position within the custodial department. The lead is responsible for creating monthly schedules, hiring students, running meetings with student supervisors, planning for tournaments/events, and working with custodial building managers as well as other departments to ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of facilities. Often the student lead will work with both student and pro staff. In this role you will: - Manages and creates student staff monthly schedules using SubItUp. - Runs interviews and hiring of new student staff. - Checks and approves all student staff timesheets. - Communicates with both student supervisors and student custodians. - Meets with custodial building managers and superintendent weekly. - Creates and tracks student fiscal year budget. - Organizes and plans kickoff and end of semester meetings. - Assists student supervisors with general tasks of cleaning and management. - Meets biweekly with scheduling and events teams to plan for large tournaments & events. - Ensures that all students are up to date with divisional training and CPR certifications. - Works with other departments within Rec Well to ensure smooth custodial operations in buildings.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with our without accomodations. - This role includes frequent walking, bending, and extended periods of standing.
