Department Overview:

 The faculty, students, and staff of the Human Development & Family Studies department conduct and apply rigorous research, program evaluation, and policy studies that aim to strengthen the well-being of children, adolescents, adults, and families, and the relationships they share. Ranked among the top programs of its kind, our department is proud to train this field’s next generation of researchers, leaders, and practitioners.

Anticipated Hours Per Week:

 Minimum: 20

Schedule:

 20 hours per week (50% TA) for the duration of the semester. The 50% TA will support two instructors across two sections of HDFS 425. The lectures are Monday/Wednesday from 2:30-3:45pm and Tuesday/Thursday from 9:30-10:45am. Other times as discussed with the instructors.

 Graduate student in good academic standing.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Position Summary/Job Duties:

Attend lectures. Grade homework and exams. Hold office hours. Assist students. Provide support to the faculty instructor who will deliver content each week. Additional requirements will be discussed with the faculty instructor.
