Department Overview:
The Great Lakes Bioenergy Research Center (GLBRC) is a U.S. Department of Energy-funded Bioenergy Research Center led by the University of Wisconsin-Madison. With Michigan State University and other partners, we are developing approaches to generate advanced biofuels and bioproducts through economically viable and environmentally sustainable technologies.

Qualifications:
University course laboratory experience required and knowledge of chemistry/analytical chemistry preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
The metabolomics lab is responsible for accurate labeling and processing of samples, so attention to detail and precision with repetitive tasks is required. Understanding of general lab practices preferred.
Position Summary/Job Duties:
This position is responsible for prepping solutions, performing sample preparation, performing analysis using HPLC and GC/MS analytical chemistry methodology, and reporting data into a laboratory information management system.

Walking around lab, handling lab supplies
