PEOPLE First Year Seminar Teaching Assistant summary: The PEOPLE College Team is seeking a teaching assistant for two sections of the PEOPLE First Year Seminar. This position will work with the College Success Specialist to implement the course curriculum and provide academic support and resources for first-year PEOPLE scholars. The TA will work closely with the PEOPLE College Team to enhance the student experience through four-year degree planning, resume and cover letter development, and resource exploration via collaborations with a variety of campus partners. Additionally, TAs will be integrated into PEOPLE’s yearly programming, including signature events (Fall Kick Off, Level Up), microevents (PD workshops), and assorted operations.
Must be available to teach at least 2 of the dates and times below in addition to office hours:
Mondays, 4:00pm – 5:15pm
Tuesdays, 4:00pm – 5:15pm
Wednesdays, 4:00pm – 5:15pm
Thursdays, 4:00pm – 5:15pm
