For May - July only (position ends August 1).  We are seeking a part-time housekeeper (and cook?) to come to our Near Westside home 1-2 times per week, with the possibility of additional hours and tasks in the future, depending on your interest and availability.  Anticipated hours per week: 3-6 hours or more as arranged.  Which days can also be flexible based on your schedule. The ideal candidate will be a non-smoker, have initiative and good organizational skills, and be friendly and flexible.  You are responsible, detail-oriented and a good communicator.

We live very near the UW Hospital. We are a family of four and have a friendly dog. Parents both work full-time, teenage sons are also home with sports and jobs this summer.

Duties will include:

• Regular cleaning throughout the house, especially the often-used spaces such as the kitchen, bathrooms, and eating area
• Organizing and tidying up our home
• Occasional deep cleaning (e.g. bathroom walls, fan blades, inside cupboards)

Duties may include in the future (depending on your time and interest):

• Meal planning and preparation. We enjoy most types of any ethnic food, including Latin American and Asian
• Packing and organizing for upcoming international move
• House maintenance tasks including refilling water softener salt, changing furnace filter, etc.
• Simple home repairs (e.g. paint touch-up); gardening (e.g., weeding)

Looking for immediate start in early May. Offering competitive pay - $20-25/hour - depending on experience, skills, and fit.
